Starting in Wellington explore Napier, Rotorua, Auckland and the Bay of Islands.

Taking you south from Christchurch, this 10 day includes the majestic scenery of the lower South Island.  Beginning with the large open spaces of the McKenzie Country and Mt. Cook National Park, you then travel to the coast and the Scottish influenced city of Dunedin with its nearby wildlife havens.  In Fiordland there is a full day to explore Milford Sound including a Real Journeys Nature Cruise, before you continue to the mountains and lakes of the Southern Lakes region.

Journey south through New Zealand’s North Island from Auckland, the ‘City of Sails’ to the quirky capital city of Wellington.  Along the way you’ll encounter Maori culture in Rotorua,  explore the Art Deco architecture and vineyards of Napier and travel at a relaxed pace allowing you to really soak up the atmosphere of each destination.

From the vibrant city of Auckland you’ll travel south to the spectacular mountains and thrilling adventures of Queenstown. Along the way you’ll travel through heartland New Zealand, including the cultural mecca of Rotorua and quirky Wellington City in the North Island. While in the South Island you have opportunities for wildlife encounters in Kaikoura and plenty of time to explore the inspiring city of Christchurch.
